Brybelly Breaks Ground at Site of New Facility

The move will create 50-70 new jobs in Hancock County over the next ten years

MOUNT COMFORT, IN (3 May 2016) - Earlier this week principal shareholders Knute Lentz and Jeffrey K. Smith, along with project team representatives, officially broke ground at the future site of Brybelly Holdings, Inc. The state of the art 200,000-square-foot distribution center is set to create 50-70 new jobs in Hancock Country over the next ten years.

The project team consists of Peterson Construction, Dillon Construction, Terra Site Development, Curran Architecture, Old National Bank, Colliers International, the Hancock County Economic Development Council, and Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP.

Lentz and Smith recently appeared on WISH-TV and offered insight into moving Brybelly's headquarters from Marion to Hancock County. "We felt like [Hancock County] genuinely wanted us in their community," Lentz said, adding that Hancock County "offered us some really good incentives, and the location is fantastic. ... It was an easy decision in the end."

Smith added that Hancock County offers an excellent distribution location with proximity to major highways and airports as well as a stellar local labor pool and infrastructure.

In its eleventh-year as an ecommerce and product development company, Brybelly currently operates out of three facilities approximating a combined 100,000 square feet. The new building will effectively double the company's warehouse space with the option to expand up to 400,000 square feet as Brybelly continues to grow.
